and EmpowermentBeacon of Hope
engages in family empowerment by connecting families with the services
they desperately need. The organization builds a relationship with the
students, parents and schools to ensure program effectiveness.
Monthly Parent Meetings

program, parental involvement increases the likelihood of positive
results. Monthly parent meetings are held to keep parents up to date with
school activities as well as individual classroom and student progress.
- Single mothers, many of whom are
teens who have dropped out of school, are provided with access to
parenting classes and GED programs.Home Visits
Parents are visited at home to ensure children are in a safe environment
and assessments are made on a case by case basis to help families connect
with support services.
